With 145 years of experience and about 5,000 highly qualified professionals, DEME is a world leader in dredging, land reclamation, marine infrastructure, offshore energy and environmental remediation.
We were asked by them to build a screening installation on a dredging pontoon. On the pontoon was a grab crane that threw the bottom sludge onto the screening box where the water and mud fell under the screen and was pumped back into the watercourse. All types of waste (wood, large rocks, bicycles …) entered a catch basin at the front of the screener.
