Iron oxide screening for Pandrol (FR)

Pandrol is the standard in rail fastener systems and exothermic welding and operates in more than 100 countries.

The plant for Pandrol consists of 3.5m³ feed bunker, 8m long feed conveyor, a Mini Screener and 11m long discharge conveyor in 2 parts. The Mini Screener sifts iron oxide which in turn serves as raw material for the production of thermite, which is used for thermite welding of rail tracks.
The entire plant is monitored by various sensors to control the direct feed into the blast furnaces.
