Screen installation on a dredging pontoon

With 145 years of experience and some 5,000 highly qualified professionals, DEME is a world leader in dredging, land reclamation, marine infrastructure, offshore energy and environmental remediation.

We were asked by them to build a screening system on a dredging pontoon. On the pontoon was a grab crane that threw the bottom mud onto the sieve box where the water and mud fell under the sieve and were pumped back into the watercourse. All types of waste (wood, large rocks, bicycles ...) entered a catch basin at the front of the sieve.
