Presorted chickpeas

Termont & Thomaes of Biervliet, Netherlands, in addition to trading grains, seeds and legumes, also does cleaning and processing and storage and transshipment of grass seeds, foreign legumes and foreign grains.

Termont & Thomaes was looking for a solution to pre-sort chickpeas that had just been harvested. A sieving had to be done in 3 fractions. The chickpeas had to be separated from small earth clods and the pod. The earth clods and pod were collected in a wooden crate that stood under and in front of the plant. The chickpeas were discharged via a conveyor belt to a large filling bunker.
